In summer the unspoilt landscape of the Sarntal Valley is a genuine Eldorado for hikers, mountain bikers and mountain lovers. The leisurely Sarntal circular trail, the family friendly Urlesteig, the legendary Stoanerne Mandln (Stone Men), the Latzfons Cross and Lake Durnholz are just a few of the rewarding destinations that you might come across during your expeditions in the Sarntal Valley. And on especially hot days a quick trip to Sarnthein, which is just 2 km away, is well worthwhile, with its open-air swimming pool that provides a wonderful opportunity to cool down. An exciting ride with a Haflinger horse is another special experience. However you can also get to know the Sarntal Valley without any effort at all on a carriage ride.
